Description: Dr. Ed de St.Aubin will give an engaging lecture titled "'Tis Better to Love than to Judge: Evidence from Psychology and Beyond" as the next installment of the Honors Program Student Council's Last Lecture Series. Description: Emily Fassbinder from Central High School in West Allis will be joining us to discuss what mental health and school counselors need to know about one another’s emphases and foci regarding students and clients in order to better facilitate collaboration. Cost of attendance is $10 for professionals, $5 for students, and $2 for two slices of pizza. Attendance and pizza are free to CECP GSO members. About Late Night Marquette

Mission Statement

Late Night Marquette actively promotes a vibrant campus culture by collaborating with members of the university and Milwaukee communities to provide fun, innovative, and inexpensive programming to students. A diverse group of students and student organizations are key participants in the planning and implementation process, which provides valuable leadership and learning experiences.

Goals

  1. Create places for students to gather and socialize during late night hours
  2. Establish late night programming as part of the campus culture
  3. Incorporate traditional programs into a broader late night programming initiative
  4. Develop new programs that broaden the experiences of students
  5. Build excitement on campus in order to build a stronger Marquette community
  6. Connect students with entertainment opportunities in the greater Milwaukee community
  7. Collaborate with students, staff, faculty, and alumni and encourage all of these groups to share special areas of expertise and talent
  8. Encourage student involvement and leadership

Late Night Marquette is happy to promote your student organization's or your hall's event on our website. Just contact Jennifer Ciesiulka to have the event listed. (NOTE: All events must be registered and approved.)

In addition, Late Night is happy to share our resources with RAs for events in the residence halls. We have a number of Nintendo Wii consoles, Rock Band, and other games. For more information, contact Jennifer Ciesiulka.
